Hayes Township Park Camp Sea-Gull Winter Operation Restrictions.
After Successfully completing stage 1 and stage 2 and fully opening Hayes Township Park this fall it is now time to set up for the winter season. Due to the steep slope of the road, the boat launch and road
to the lower level of the park are shut down for the winter months to vehicle & boat traffic.
The lower level including the fishing pier is still accessible by foot and by off road vehicle. Ice fishermen, skiers, hikers, and others are encouraged to access the park through the old entrance for easier access. Please remember that there are bubblers around the fishing pier so when the lake freezes there will be open water and thin ice near the fishing pier.
Appropriate warning signs are planned to warn park visitors.
