Notice of Public Hearing
Special Use Permit & Site Plan Review
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing March 13, 2019 at 7:00p.m. at the Hayes Township
Hall located at 09195 Old US-31 North, (near Burgess Road), Charlevoix Michigan 49720.
The purpose of the hearing is to accept public comments on an application from Elmer’s Real Estate Company LLC for a Special Use Permit and Site Plan Review to operate a Concrete Batch Plant at 07889 Boyne City/Charlevoix Road having the tax identification numbers of 15-007-002-011-00 and 15-007-002-009-00.
The property is zoned General Industrial (I-1). A copy of the proposed site plan is available on the Township web site home page, at the Planning Hearing Page and for hard copies review at the Hayes Township Hall during normal office hours.
Comments may be mailed to the Township Hall at the above listed address, emailed to zoning@hayestownshipmi.gov, faxed to 231-237-0046 or made in person at the hearing.
