Two months ago, one of our local Fireman was involved in a collision accident with a fire truck and car while responding to an emergency.  Unfortunately, he was seriously injured, and unable to work.  The lack of work is putting a huge strain on his family.

The local fire station is hosting a car wash fundraiser, with 100% of the donations going to the injured firefighter and his family.  There will be fire trucks and ambulance on-site for kids to look at, and everyone is invited to tour the awesome new station.

Please join us on August 6th at 10am at the Martin Road Fire Station to support our injured first responder!

On Wednesday evening, 7 amazing first responders were awarded a ‘Save a life’ pin.  This award reflects a life that they saved during a call.  We know that one of these lives saved was a Hayes Township resident, and are so thankful for the skills and quick thinking of the EMS professional on-call, that person is with us today.

To all of our brave first responders–we thank you and salute you!
