Important Tax Information

February brings the deadline for all property taxes to be paid.  Come March 1st, all delinquent taxes are handed over to Charlevoix County.

You can mail your tax payment to the Township Hall: 9195 Old US 31 N, Charlevoix, MI, 49720.  You can also drop it off during regular Treasurer hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9-12).  There is a new secure drop box at the hall in the circle drive—please feel free to put your payment there as well.  We are not currently set up to accept credit card payments, but are looking into that for the future to add another option for our residents. VIDEO:Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund

The Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF) projects provide for natural resource protection and outdoor recreation. By law, no more than 25 percent of the Trust Fund revenues available for appropriation each year can be used for development, therefore the majority of funding is allocated for acquisition projects. Final grant recommendations are made by the MNRTF Board to the state legislature for final approval.
