Hayes Township Residents:  It has been brought to our attention that there are scam e-mails going out that appear to originate from Hayes Township or a member of one of our commissions.  They ask for a favor and then request gift cards to be purchased.

Please know that our officials and the members of our committees and commissions will NEVER solicit anything via e-mail and will always use a trusted form of communication. If you or anyone you know has gotten an e-mail of this nature, please forward it to treasurer@hayestownshipmi.gov so we can properly report it.

Scams like this are common, especially during the holiday season.  Please don’t find yourself victim of one–stay vigilant and use only trusted communication with people you know.

The December Parks and Recreation Meeting scheduled for 7:30pm Monday, December 7th,has been cancelled.

Our free little pantry is nearing empty.  It was filled this morning with our remaining items and has since been utilized by residents in need.  If you are able to add anything it would be very appreciated.
