Thank you to our residents!

The 2022 tax season has officially ended!  All delinquent taxes will now go through the Charlevoix County Treasurer.
From Treasurer Julie Collard:
Thank you so much to all of our wonderful residents for another smooth tax season!
I truly appreciate all of your kind notes and cards through the season that arrive with your payments.  For my in person payments, it’s always great to see our residents face to face and catch up on the latest adventures in their lives.
Feel free to contact me at treasurer@hayestownshipmi.gov or (231)547-6961 with any questions or needs in-between tax seasons.

EMS Open House March 12

In a recent article from the Charlevoix Courier, there was a misprint about the new EMS building open house.

The article stated the Open House is scheduled for March 1, 2023.  That is incorrect.

The EMS Open House is scheduled for Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Please see attached flier for more details.

Cancellation Notice

Cancellation Notice
We have received notification that a significant number of the members of the Planning
Commission are now unable to attend this month’s meeting. Due to the importance of the
presentation by LIAA on the Lake Charlevoix Shoreline Visioning round 2 to the work of the PC,
it necessitates that we have strong participation of the Committee members. To that end we
are in the process of rescheduling the presentation and the February meeting of the Planning
Commission is cancelled. Notice will be provided of the new presentation date.
