There is a tool offered on the State of Michigan website that can help you estimate your property taxes.  This calculator is especially helpful for new residents.  Here is the link:https://treas-secure.state.mi.us/ptestimator

Hayes Township Residents:

Treasurer Hours from 11am to 1pm for Thursday, August 15^th, are cancelled.

They will resume on Thursday, August 22^nd, from 11am-1pm.

What a beautiful day we had for our Community Picnic at Hayes Township Park Camp Sea Gull!

We had a great crowd to enjoy a picnic lunch, some friendly bidding on auction items, and of course, live music.   Thank you to the Fog Horn Jazz Band for their wonderful performance.  Their tunes carried from the pavilion through the park and over Lake Charlevoix.                          All guests really enjoyed their song selections.

Our silent auction was such a fun activity, and all winners were thrilled!  Thank you to all of our local businesses and artists who donated their fantastic items for our auction.

Welcome to our new residents who came to meet members of their community.  We are so glad you joined our event.

The pantry has been getting a lot of use this summer, and the generosity of people who help stock it is VERY appreciated.
