Hayes Township Residents:

To every resident who requested an absentee ballot–they have all been mailed!  The ballots finally arrived on Monday night, and the crew got right to work getting them ready to mail to you.   Our amazing Clerk processed and mailed 821 residents their ballots.  This is a record for Hayes Township.   Fantastic job!

If you have not requested one yet and would like an absentee ballot, please contact Clerk Kristin Baranski at 21-547-6961 or clerk@hayestownshipmi.gov to request an application.

It has been brought to our attention that there are a few incorrect phone numbers on search engines for Hayes Township.  The CORRECT Hayes Township Hall phone number is 231-547-6961.

We are working on correcting the misinformation that has been found.  Thanks!

There will be a Special BOT meeting on Thursday, September 24th@ 5:30pm at the Hayes Township Hall as well as on Zoom.  This meeting will be to review and discuss the bids regarding dock storage at Hayes Township Camp Sea Gull.

Immediately following the Special BOT, there will be an election meeting to approve election workers.

Absentee Ballot Update:

Due to last minute changes from the State, ballot printing was delayed.  Ballots are currently expected to arrive to Hayes Township by October  1st. Absentee ballot envelopes are prepared to go out upon receipt of  ballots from the State of Michigan.
