End of Tax Season Information

A Note From Our Treasurer:

I will be in the office on Monday, March 2, from 9am-5pm to process any summer/winter 2025 taxes still owing.   If you would like to make an alternate payment, you can put a check in the mail (I accept postmarks), drop a payment in the drop box  (in front of Hayes Township Hall), or make an on-line payment through B,S,&A on the township website.

Aren’t sure you paid your taxes?  You can start the pay on-line process, and it will show your current balance.  If you have paid, it will show a zero balance, and then you can just close out of the prompts.  I have processed and deposited every payment that has been submitted through yesterday evening.  I will process all remaining received payments on Monday, and be depositing all of those payments on Tuesday.  All postmarked payments received after March 2nd will be processed, with the absolute last day for a postmarked payment to arrive March 8, 2026.  After that, all payments will be sent to the Charlevoix County Treasurer.
