Hayes Residents Fraud Warning

Hayes Residents: There are emails being circulated by scammers requesting funds be wired to the township.  Please be aware that you will NEVER be asked to wire funds for any township payment.  We are working with the local law enforcement regarding this matter.  The email had the Hayes logo and used names of individuals who work in and with the township.  If you or a neighbor receive any suspicious communication that appears to be from the township. please contact us at 231-547-6961.

We will NEVER request funds of any kind be wired.  Stay vigilant and don’t hesitate to reach out for any questionable communication.
