Millage Election Information

Hayes Township Registered Voters:
Due to the virus, the State of Michigan and local clerks are working diligently to keep the May 5th election by mail only. Please help keep the Hayes Township election workers safe by utilizing the township drop box for return ballots.
If you need to return a signed application and receive a ballot or have misplaced your application, please contact Kristin Baranski at 231-547-6961 Saturday 12-4pm, Sunday 12-4pm, Monday 10-4pm, or Tuesday 7am-8pm.

Free Drive Thru Pantry for Hospitality and Service Workers

May 1st-22nd, Every Friday from 12-3.  Odawa Casino, 1760 Lears Road, Petoskey.

Thanks to the generosity of Korthase Flinn and Auto Owners Insurance, Manna Food Project will be offering food assistance to all hospitality and service workers affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

However, there is a great opportunity to recycle your tires for free coming up soon!

Saturday, May 2nd, Emmett Recycling is offering a free tire recycling drop off.

7363 Plesantview Road, Harbor Springs.  Regular $3 per tire.

The Hayes Township Board of Trustees is inviting you to their May scheduled Zoom meeting.

It’s easy to attend.  You can join by phone or on your computer.  Video is optional on-line.  Simply call

To join by phone, simply call 1-253-215-8782.  When prompted, enter the meeting ID 944 8747 4228 and then use the password 560144.  You will be connected to the meeting and be able to communicate via audio.

If you would like to join from your computer, you can go to the webpage zoom.us and click on join a meeting.  A box will come up for you to enter the meeting ID: 944 8747 4228.  Then you will be asked to enter a password: 560144.  When you join the meeting you have the choice to join by both video and audio or just audio; it’s up to you.  You can choose to participate during public comment.

Free WI-FI Zone

In collaboration with the Charlevoix Public Library, we are very excited to share our new FREE Wi-Fi Zone at the Hayes Township Hall.

This is available for anyone in need of high speed Wi-Fi. Simply park in our parking lot and log in.
